Dr. Sumita C Ummat is an Entrepreneur, Facilitator, and a PCC Coach working with clients enabling them to master their own minds – thereby accomplishing success in all areas of their lives.

Prior to creating her own consulting company Let Us Talk in 2014, Sumita has worked with various IT and Telecom giants in various capacities for 17 years. She started her career in business intelligence and technology, thereby moving on to the roles of a Project manager and further into Account management leading huge teams with her leadership and mentoring. She is based in India for more than 12 years and has worked with a number of multinationals in this role in the US, Europe, and Asia.

She has been involved in designing and facilitating customized leadership development programs aligned with the business requirements. Dr. Sumita coaches senior executives aligned to meet the business objectives of the organization. Her clients experience positive outcomes in areas of communication, leadership attitudes, and behaviour. Many of them find deeper insights to overcome the potential barriers in their respective personal and professional relationships.

Current Role

Sumita believes that personal awareness is a vital tool that helps her clients recognize that can be leveraged when working with diverse people and teams. She expertises in client exploration and self-discovery of their own mental models and paradigms that stand in the way of effective leadership. She relies on her sharp intuition to act as a guide during the flow of the conversation.

Her experience comes from working with clients from a variety of industries including IT, Financial, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality, and Government organizations. She is a keen contributor to events in the area of cross-cultural leadership and Project Management. She has delivered programs and works with senior executives in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

Dr. Sumita is qualified to use different profiling tools like Vip24 HR Analytics based on Positive Psychology, 360-degree, Workplace Big Assessments, and FIRO-B enabling deeper exploration into behavioral traits and the mindsets that need to be shifted.

She is also Leading and facilitating programs for Think and Grow Rich Academy India affiliated to Napoleon Hill Foundation. Her coaching journey has been catalyzed by ‘Thinking into Results’ offered by the Proctor Gallagher Institute in the United States.

Educational Background

Sumita has an Electronics Engineering degree from the prestigious Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. She is PCC certified Coach with ICF. She is a certified Project Management Professional contributing to the expected behaviors of Project Managers as future leaders. Sumita has completed a research-based Diploma study on Naturopathy including Stress Management, Yoga, and meditation.

Sumita is also a member of the Cross-Cultural Consultant network and works with different cultures on leadership subjects. She is also an Alumni mentor with Cherie Blair Foundation for Women in the UK.
