Graeme Reid

The experience set of his corporate
roles, linked with his own entrepreneurial experience, gives Graeme the ability
to work with both SMME operators as well as individuals in larger
organizations. This is further reinforced by the wide range of industries and
environments in which he has operated.

Graeme’s initial corporate career was
spent in retailing fulfilling operational and human resources roles with major
South African companies. During this twenty five year period, he accumulated
considerable experience in general, strategic, human resource
and change management at senior levels.

Thereafter, he became a partner in a strategic
market research and consulting company before starting and operating his own
businesses in franchising and fast service restaurants. An HR / IR and training
consultancy and debt counselling practice were added to the portfolio later.

While operating his multiple outlets,
he was approached to become the General Manager of a consulting company
specializing in human resources and physcometrics. This extension of his
experience led him to developing a consultancy assisting clients in strategy,
labour law and manpower development.

Seta registration and “learnership”
management contributed to Graeme becoming aware of the increasing acknowledgement
of the specialist role of coaching to
both individuals and businesses. Further research resulted in travelling to the
USA and becoming an accredited ActionCOACH (business coaching). He
has subsequently also Completed the Henley Business School’s Professional
Certificate in Coaching.

Concurrent with the development of
his coaching business, a newly listed company in the research and data industry
approached Graeme to assist them with the challenges resulting from their
merger and listing. This return to corporate life embraced organizational
development with a sizeable in house coaching role.

In early 2014 he left the corporate
role and re-established his coaching and consulting practice.

Graeme
holds an MBA (Henley) as well as various management and other qualifications.
